Best of the Web, what I consider the last of the best rated tier directories, has the benefit of being very similar to Yahoo, but better in that they have one time fee submission options. With a one time fee submission you have 5 years, 10 years, to make up the cost, it is much easier to justify than Yahoos yearly fee (BOTW also has a yearly fee option). BOTW has been around nearly as long as Yahoo as well, and throughout the submission site page ranks are very close. They have less traffic than Yahoo of course, but they are much cheaper too.
Generating one way links is as much about your web-sites popularity as your sites rankings, and I think being discriminating in your submissions is a good thing and will help make sure you do not over do things and trip any present or future filter or penalty.

Rabu 14 April 2010 adalah hari yang berdarah di area pemakaman Mbah Priok, bentrok antara Petugas Trantib, Polisi dengan masa dan korbanpun berjatuhan, berbagai media masa meliput kejadian ini dan dari berbagai berita konon kabarnya ada 29 orang mengalami luka dan tiga orang tewas dari Petugas keamanan dan masa.

Bentrokan ini diakibatkan oleh karena adanya penggusuran area makam Mbah Priok oleh Pemkot DKI. area makam Mbah Priok tersebut diklaim PT. Pelindo dan akan dijadikan Jalan Tol dan Terminal Petikemas namun warga dan para ahli waris tidak terima maka dari itu wargapun melakukan aksi pemblokiran jalan guna menghalang-halangi Petugas yang hendak meng-exsekusi area pekuburan tsb. warga tidak terima makam Mbah Priok yang merupakan monumen bersejarah Islam tersebut digusur. Tetapi kalau menurut yang diberitakan Situs Tempointerakti.com bahwam jenajah Mbah Priok sudah dipindahkan sejak tahun 1997, berikut beritanya:

TEMPO Interaktif, Jakarta -Jenazah Mbah Priok sudah dipindahkan dari makamnya di Koja, Jakarta Utara, sejak tahun 1997. Saat ini, Makam Mbah Priok yang memicu bentrokan itu merupakan petilasannya saja.

Hal itu dinyatakan Kepala Bidang Komunikasi dan Informasi Pemprov DKI Cucu Ahmad Kurnia. Dia mengatakan jenazah Mbah Priok saat ini dimakamkan di TPU Semper.

“Saat ini di makam Mbah Priok di Koja, Jakarta Utara, hanya berupa petilasannya (jejak) saja. Jenazahnya sendiri sudah dipindahkan ke TPU Semper pada 21 Agustus 1997 oleh ahli warisnya,” kata Cucu Ahmad Kurnia kepada wartawan di gedung Balaikota, Jakarta Pusat, hari ini (14/4).

Sebelum bergerak menuju makam Mbah Priok, kata Cucu, petugas menggelar apel siaga di halaman kantor Walikota Jakarta Utara sekitar pukul 05.30. Selanjutnya pukul 06.00 petugas bergerak dengan menggunakan puluhan truk dan dua kendaraan berat jenis eksavator.

“Namun baru saja tiba di lokasi makam, sekitar 400 massa pengikut Habib Ali Zaenal Abidin dan Habib Abdullah Sting, langsung menyerang petugas dengan berbagai peralatan. Ada bom molotov, senjata tajam, kayu, dan batu,” kata Cucu.

Cucu menekankan, pada saat itu petugas tidak melakukan perlawanan. “Petugas justru melakukan negosiasi selama satu jam. Tapi tidak ketemu titik tengah dan berujung bentrok.”

Menurut Cucu, pihak Pemprov DKI sudah menyatakan menarik mundur petugas di sekitar makam Mbah Priok sejak pukul 15.00. “Walau begitu, masih ada petugas disana untuk berjaga,” kata dia.
